Unser extension
The Unser extension is being built and is expected to open in Fall of 2011. The roadway is planned to extend completely to Lyon in Paradise Hills. Until the properties along Unser are built out the roadway will be 2 lanes like Paseo Del Norte above the escarpment.
This work entails providing drainage under the roadway at old Atrisco. Rainbow will be rerouted to intersect on the north side of the arroyo. Universe will then intersect Rainbow almost in straight line. The Universe intersection is not planned to have a stop light. There are planned stop lights at Molten Rock, Rainbow, Rosa Parks, and Paseo Del Norte. More may be planned north of Paseo Del Norte but no details are available at this time.
